Don't You Quit

I was recently reminded of the video below by a dear friend. This talk has brought tears to my eyes on many occasions and, along with the tears, a new strength to push forward. Sometimes it's something as small as a hard day, sometimes it's something bigger, but always - always - these comforting words will be true. There will always be hope in the future, there will always be good things to come. Always, there will be our loving Father in Heaven and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They know and understand you. They know more than anyone else. They know, even when you feel lost and alone. They know, even when you don't.

Our Older Brother, Jesus Christ, lived His life for each of us. He loves you. He cares for you. He, better than anyone, understands. He is taking each step with you, never leaving your side. He knows the pains, the sorrows, the regrets, the frustrations, the fears, hopes, dreams and joys that you feel. He knows because He experiences them with you. He also knows what things are to come. He knows which college is best for you, He knows who your spouse should be. He knows whose life you can change and whose life can change you. Allow Him to guide you.

Tough times will come for each of us. But don't you quit. Don't you let those tough times pull you from your potential. Don't you give up on who you are. You are a child of God. You are destined for greatness. Stay strong. Trust in Him. There are good things to come.
