Wisdom

There could not have been a better time for the word peace to be the focus of my week. Remembering what it meant gave me what I needed to push through many a difficult time throughout the week. I hope that it has helped you at one point or another this week as well.

The word for this week is:

Wisdom:
the exercise of sound judgement,
discerning between truth and error

Wisdom is more than simply knowing things, it is applying that knowledge to better your surroundings.

Be wise in your thoughts and your actions. Be aware of what you are doing and take each step accordingly. Recognize the difference between good and evil, truth and error.

As well as focusing on being wise in your own individual thoughts and actions this week, look to see the wisdom surrounding you. In your families, friends, teachers and acquaintances. But above all, see the wisdom that resides in your Father in Heaven and your Savior, Jesus Christ. See the wisdom in what the Lord has planned for you and have the wisdom to trust in it.

Wisdom is in short supply in the world today because men do not know God.

O be wise; what can I say more?
