Love:

the sum of all excellence

First, let's start off with a request. If you have not yet watched the video that was the inspiration for the 50 Week Challenge, please do so now. The moment that this word and definition appear is arguably the most powerful of the entire creation. And if you have already seen it, go ahead and watch it again. It's worth it.

This Easter week and always, may we stand by Jesus Christ "at all times and in all things, and in all places that [we] may be in, even until death," for surely that is how He stood by us when it was unto death and when He had to stand entirely and utterly alone.

There is no greater example of love than our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He did for each of us what none other could do. He, who could accomplish everything required of Him to live with our Heavenly Father on His own; He, who had a perfect understanding of who He was; He, who was perfect Himself, chose--willingly--to undergo the pains and trials that each of us must face. He chose to understand what it is like for the rest of us. He chose to clear a path for us, that we might receive the same blessings; that we might live with our Father in Heaven again.

He chose because He loves us.
