Inspired by a 50's themed New Year's Eve dance, I decided to make a poodle skirt. I hadn't used a sewing machine since middle school when I took a semester long sewing class, but after a few reminders on the basic functions of a sewing machine I started my project. Just kidding, I'm certain that you can't get a pattern that's any easier as far as the sewing goes. Pretty much all I had to do was cut out two pieces of fabric and sew them together.
The rest was, in theory, simple. All I had to do was cut out the poodle and clue everything else on. Turns out I stink at gluing. But after much frustration, I got it done and ended up with my lovely skirt to wear while I danced the night away.
You are so stinking adorable!
